My name is Emily Hardesty and I am an actress based in NYC. I grew up in Peoria, IL, where I started performing by putting on living room productions for nobody in particular. Outstanding selections included dramatic interpretation of the Nutcracker soundtrack and a one woman performance of the Catholic Mass-- some things change. What has not changed is my love of playing pretend.

 got my BFA in Musical Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University and eventually moved to New York City. Apart from theatre, I love arts and crafts, going to movies, adventuring, and decorating my happy little home.

As a performer, I cherish the way that art can transport you to another time, place, or circumstance. I aim to be involved with art that is empathetic, captivating, complex, and joyful.
